Ok, it’s time to get up and get going down to the church. In the book of Matthew, Jesus tells Peter to put away the sword, for all who live by the sword will die by the sword. I say to you then think of ways you live by the sword – taking matters into your own hands – saving yourself, avenging yourself, whatever your sword may be and give it up. But don’t worry about yourself for when you learn to live by The Word you will be saved by the Word. You will be comforted by the Word; avenged by the Word, loved by the Word, whatever we may need it’s ours through the Word. The Word is what you want to live by. Love you guys

Your Father Fathered You
Psalm 100:1-4
– He fertilized the egg that became you. Your mom produced the egg your father fathered; she carried you and birthed you. But God made you. He designed you and made you special snd then chose your mom and dad to be a part of the miracle work of bringing you into the world. Psalm 100:3-4 says “know that the Lord is God l; it is He who made us; and not we ourselves. We are His people, and the sheep of His pasture. Enter into His gates with thanksgiving and into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name. I hope these scriptures help you celebrate thanksgiving in a different but better way today and every day going forward. It starts when we know who made us. Our parents had a role in that but God designed us from His mind. Thanksgiving is remember all that we have and don’t have and should like to have and thanking Him for that because He made us. Praise is yelling at the top of the lungs and vocals of our lives the expressions of gratitude we have toward the One who made us – the One who did not allow us to be made any anyone else. Give Him thanks today from your heart and praise Him with a life that says to Him and to others He made you. Have a great thanksgiving you and all those you love and know. Love you
Seeing Your Way
This is the message from 1997 I referenced in my message today.
The good friend who maintains the Live Delivered web site and Podcasts thought it would be a good idea to share that message with you. Back then I was connecting with others via email. So what you have here is that email, less the names of the people.

Subject: Seeing Your Way
Renewing your mind. “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path” (Psalm 119:105). A small boy and his father were walking in the way. The father explained patiently to the boy how he must be careful to hold onto the father’s hand for safety and to listen to his instructions as they made their way on their journey. The boy exclaimed “but father I don’t need to hold your hand because I can follow your footsteps here in the way”. The father was pleased but he said, “son there will be times when you will not be able to see my footsteps and when that happens you must understand my way in order to follow my path.”
The little boy didn’t realize he needed more than footsteps to follow to make sure he was on solid ground. He needed the presence of his father with him and beside him all the time. Still, the little boy was saying “I can see your way from your footsteps.” In his innocence he was telling his father he could depend even on his footsteps to follow and to live by. That is some great faith shown in a little way by a little boy.
I am reminded today that we should be just like that little boy in our relationship to Christ. We may think we know where Christ wants us to go; we may think we know the way He wants us to take; but we cannot see our feet, nor can we choose the right path to follow when we do not have the word of God as our lamp.
PTL today and learn to hold onto His Hands and to listen to His instructions. You will need to do both in order to choose and to follow the right paths in your life going forward. Things will not get easier for you. Things will not be simpler for you. Your future is likely to be much more complex than your present. Holding onto His Word and following His Way is the best way you can choose to get through a future that will not be kind to you.

Renewing Your Mind
Renewing your mind. “Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls” (Matthew 11:29). The word of God gives us the tools we need to refashion our lives into the things the word represent. When we step under the yoke of Christ we are there to be trained. The yoke is used to control the behavior of an animal. The yoke God uses for us is His word. He tells us then to take His word as our yokes and to saddle ourselves with it and to use it as our provision for our work. Of all you know of Christ is there anything to suggest He ever had a care or worry about some thing not of God? This what it means to have rest for our souls; to be so trained by the word of God and to be so under the teaching and provisioning of God that His nature becomes the influencing guide in our own lives. It is at this point when we learn to be controlled not by our natural instincts or by what we see or hear. But we take what happens naturally in our lives and place it under the scrutiny of the word of God so that we act not by nature by what we know and learn from Christ. If you want to be a help to a friend; if you want to change some aspect of your life or of someone else, pray God teach you to act by His nature on these things and you will be blessed with results only He can bring forth.
